Watch the new Monster Boyfriend DEMO trailer ~ ^o^

Just a little something I whipped up myself. It's the first trailer I've ever made, so may be a little rough around the edges. ^^; I may try for a more polished trailer when the full game releases. Like the visual novel itself, the trailer is age restricted, so you'll need to be logged in on YouTube to watch it. Less than five months until the release of the demo. Just in time for spooky season ~ I hope you'll look forward to joining me and the Monster Boyfriends on October 1st 2025 ♥

I've already added a couple new features to the demo I wasn't originally planning on, including an Achievements system (there's 20 of them in total) and Music Gallery showcasing the wonderful musical skills of Manila (composer of "Haunted Halloween" which I used in the trailer) and This is Beat Kitchen who's music I specifically chose for the more sexy scenes. ;) Note that all the music is under a CC license (I made sure to check that they were okay for commercial use).

I want to at least attempt to do a CG gallery, most likely similar to the one I did in my HSR otome fangame, considering I already have the code for it. Although this may involve some complications given the ability to customize the main character, not sure how I want to tackle that, but I'll do my best! Worst case scenario, I'll just be using the MC's default colors for it, though I'd like to at least try to find a way to implement the same layered image effect I do in-game. However I suspect you'll need to view the gallery in-game (not from the main screen) in order to see your custom MC as they aren't persistent variables.

Anyway ... I'll see what I can do. Stay tuned for more updates! I'll probably do at least one or two more of these little preview devlogs before the demo releases in Oct. :3
