While I always recommend playing a game without a walkthrough the first time you experience it, Part 2 is more complicated than Part 1, as we throw Jing Yuan into the mix. So getting to play through all the routes you want may not be as easy as it was in Part 1. In Part 2, both Jing Yuan and Dan Heng have confession scenes. You can trigger one, the other or both in the same playthrough! There's only four different endings, but five different routes you can take. While there's probably multiple different ways you can achieve each route, I'll share the easiest and most straightforward that have been tested by me personally to ensure you get the desired outcome. You'll know you've reached the beginning of Part 2 when the words  "After the events of Penacony ..." appear on the screen.

Recommended Playing Order
In the game you get to choose the order of the four date locations. While the order of the dates doesn't really effect the end result as much as the choices, for the easiest and what I believe to be most enjoyable experience, I'd recommend doing them in the same order they occur in Honkai: Star Rail:

Herta Space Station (simulated universe) > Jarilo-VI (Belobog museum) > Xianzhou Luofu (Aurum Alley) > Penacony (Arcade)

This is also the order all of these guides will assume you're doing. At the very least, I'd recommend saving Penacony for last. As there are some special romance scenes that'll only occur if you're already dating either Jing Yuan or Dan Heng (or both!) Therefore the best way to experience the romance is to get those confession scenes before visiting Penacony. These walkthroughs will show you how to do just that.

Dan Heng Confession Only
Obviously the easiest and fastest way is to come out and tell Dan Heng you're interested in him in Part 1. However, if you're only interested in seeing Dan Heng's confession and not General Jing Yuan's, make sure to tell Dan Heng you just want to stay friends in Part 1. If you're already dating him, his confession scene won't trigger in Part 2. Note that even if you accidentally trigger Jing Yuan's confession, you can simply tell him you're not interested. Though this walkthrough is intended to avoid getting the General's confession. If you want to see both (regardless of whether you want to date them both or not), see the Polyamorous Routes below.

Once you reach Part 2, be sure to select all the following options:
- He's a good friend
- Path of the Hunt
- Buff me!
- Help Dan Heng
- Should get the confession scene at this point. Be sure to say "I want to be your girlfriend/boyfriend" if you want to date him! Now we just have to avoid the General's confession scene.
- You're a good friend / Stop talking like that
- Any
- But not as cute as Dan Heng
- Make time for it.
- I'm proud of Dan Heng / Should I leave?
- Any
- High five
♥ Dan Heng's Romance Ending ♥

Jing Yuan Confession Only
Jing Yuan is a little harder to woo than Dan Heng, but it's still fairly easy to trigger, so long as you're dropping hints that you like the General as more than just a friend. Note that even if you accidentally trigger Dan Heng's confession, you can simply tell him you want to stay friends. Though this walkthrough is intended to avoid getting Dan Heng's confession. If you want to see both (regardless of whether you want to date them both or not), see the Polyamorous Routes below.

If you're only interested in seeing the General's confession scene and not Dan Heng's, be sure to choose the following options:
- He's hot.
- Path of Erudition
- Buff me!
- Keep fighting / Recall Jing Yuan's advice
- Any
- You're great to me
- Any
- But not as cute as you, General
- You should get the General's confession scene at this point. Be sure to tell him you're interested! Now we just have to avoid getting Dan Heng's confession.

Polyamorous Route (Dan Heng First)
Triggering both confessions in the same playthrough before the Penacony date can be tricky, but it is possible so long as you follow this guide! Though both Polyamorous routes share the same ending, the confession scenes will vary a little depending on who confesses first. In this playthrough we'll be aiming for Dan Heng's confession first and Jing Yuan's second. Be sure to tell Dan Heng you just want to stay friends in Part 1 if you want to trigger his confession scene! However, even if you're already dating Dan Heng, you can still trigger Jing Yuan's confession scene and get the polyamorous ending.

Lone Trailblazer Ending
If you're wondering if it's possible to play through Part 2 without getting any confession scenes, you sure can! Just be sure to continuously hint that you're more interested in going it solo. Of course it is possible to get this ending even if you trigger the confession scenes by telling the guys you just want to be friends. But this guide is specifically intended for those who don't want to see either of the confession scenes. You can only get this ending if you also got the "Friends Forever" ending in Part 1, so be sure to tell Dan Heng you just want to be friends when he asks if this is date. There's no break up options in this game, so once you start dating someone, you'll be dating them for the rest of the game.
